ABOUT BRANDON LEAKE

Spoken-word poet who is best recognized for winning season 15 of America's Got Talent . His powerful poems were about anything from the Black Lives Matter movement to his daughter.  Aside from being a spoken-word poet, he is a keynote speaker and art educator.

He earned a Golden Buzzer during the auditions round from judge Howie Mandel .

He dedicated one of his performances on America's Got Talent to Breonna Taylor . He is the founder and CEO of Called To Move, a platform to promote poets and inspire others to pursue poetry. He has spoken and performed at a number of universities, conferences, and poetry slams.

He was born in Stockton, California. He and his wife Anna have a daughter named Aaliyah.

He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in September 2020.
