ABOUT BRANDON WILLIAMSON

Left-handed pitcher that was originally drafted by the Seattle Mariners during the second round of the 2019 Major League Draft. A few years later, he was packaged in a trade to the Cincinnati Reds in March 2022. Prior to being drafted, he attended Texas Christian University where he played college baseball for one season.

He is a graduate of Martin County West High School in Sherburn, Minnesota. Initially, he began his collegiate career at North Iowa Area Community College.

He logged a career-high 122 innings during the 2022 minor league season. Following that season, he was named the sixth-best MLB prospect in the Reds farm system.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Fairmont, Minnesota. He is one of four siblings.

He was once involved in a trade that also included Eugenio Suárez .
