ABOUT BREEL DONALD EMBOLO

Cameroonian-born Swiss international striker who signed with Schalke of the Bundesliga in 2016. He'd spent his first three professional seasons with Basel of the Swiss Super League.

After playing youth soccer with Nordstern and Old Boys, he joined Basel in 2010. He made his senior debut in 2014.

He first debuted with Switzerland's senior team in 2015 and represented them at the Euro 2016 tournament.

He was born in Cameroon, but later moved to Switzerland. He has a brother.

He and Granit Xhaka have played together on Switzerland's national team.
