Forward who was named the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year after his first season with FC Portland in 1987.

He played college soccer at Warner Pacific College from 1983 to 1987.

He made an appearance in the Summer Olympics with the U.S. national team in 1988.

He was born in Cavalier, North Dakota.

He won the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year award in 1987. Paul Caligiuri won the same award in 1986.
