ABOUT BRIAN O'CONNOR
NCAA baseball head coach was named the 2009 National Coach of the Year with the University of Virginia in 2009.
He was a pitcher in the College World Series with Creighton University in 1993.
He led the University of Virginia to a conference season and tournament championship in 2010.
He has three children, Ellie, Maggie and Dillon, with wife Cindy Petratis.
He coached Ryan Zimmerman at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2005.
