ABOUT BRIAN RICHARD
Louisiana-born artist and graphic designer. His pop art earned him several awards, including the DC Comics and Warner Bros. art prizes.
During his teens, he briefly pursued a career as a musician and designed artwork and posters to accompany his music gigs.
He was the recipient of the American Lung Association's Young Artist Award.
His entire body of artwork was lost when his home city of New Orleans, Louisiana was flooded during Hurricane Katrina.
He was influenced by the pop art of Andy Warhol .
