Singer and songwriter who has gained fame in the indie folk and rock genres. He release his 2018 debut EP, Carnival, with Atlantic Records. In 2014, he finished as a semi-finalist during season 13 of American Idol .

He auditioned for American Idol judges in 2013 at age 15. He attended Lipscomb University .

He played at the famed South by Southwest festival for his first time in 2019. He opened for Liz Cooper & The Stampede that same year.

He was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was featured on Taylor Swift 's 2019 Apple Music playlist "Playlist by ME!."
