She started doing photography when she was ten after buying a polaroid camera from a garage sale. In high school, she bought her first DSLR.

She is also a musician and performed a cover of The Shin's "Those To Come" for her YouTube channel.

She often shoots with her younger sister Lavender.

She and photographer Nesrin Danan were both born in 1995.
