She competed as a singer in the Jacaranda Talent Quest in Grafton, Australia at the age of 11. She earned a record deal with Universal Music at the age of 17.
She acted in the 2016 film Spin Out.
She is married to singer-songwriter Adam Eckersley. The couple has a son and a daughter.
