Bryan Hamilton
ABOUT BRYAN HAMILTON
Midfielder who played for such teams as Ipswich Town FC and the Tranmere Rovers during the 1970s and '80s. He was also a member of the Northern Ireland national team.
At the start of his career, he played for the Distillery and Linfield football clubs.
In 1980, he retired from playing soccer and became a manager of the Tranmere Rovers. In the next two decades, he managed several other teams, including Wigan Athletic, Leicester City, and Norwich City.
He was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Hamilton and his contemporary and fellow former footballer, Brian Little , both managed the Tranmere Rovers.
