ABOUT BUDDY BAER
Tall, large-framed film actor who appeared in the 1952 film, Jack and the Beanstalk, and in the 1951 film, Quo Vadis. He played Haldar the Viking in thirty-seven episodes of the television series Tales of the Vikings.
He appeared early in his career in the 1937 comedic film, Take It from Me.
Ring Magazine placed him on their list of top 100 punchers of all time.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska and later relocated to Southern California.
His older brother, Max Baer , was a champion of heavyweight boxing.
