ABOUT BUNDEE AKI
Irish rugby union player who is known for his work as a center with the Connacht club. He is also known for having played on the Counties Maukai and the Chiefs clubs as well as the Ireland national team. He has accumulated more than 180,000 followers on his bundeeaki Instagram page.
He started playing on the Manurewa High School rugby team before playing professionally in 2011 as part of the Counties Manukau club. He then joined the Chiefs club in 2013 and the Connacht club in 2014. He joined the Ireland national team in 2017.
With the Ireland national team, he has won several championships including the Six Nations Championship, the Grand Slam, and the Triple Crown all within the 2018 season.
He was born and raised in the Auckland suburb of Otahuhu and married Kayla Ielemia.
He was transferred from the Chiefs to the Connacht club, as was Craig Clarke the season before.
