ABOUT BYRON EVANS

Linebacker who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1987 to 1994, after being selected in the 4th round of the 1987 NFL Draft.

He had a successful college career at the University of Arizona, where he was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 1986.

He was a critical component of the vaunted "Gang Green" Eagles defense.

He had his first child, a son, shortly after retiring.

He helped form a dominant defense alongside legendary lineman Reggie White on the Eagles.
