After graduating from high school she moved from Canada to the United States. She took time to study in Jerusalem, and met her husband there.

She has a pet German Shepard named Harley, who she photographs during afternoon walks or when they lounge together indoors.

She met her husband in 2016 when they were both in college, and married him 8 months later. They welcomed their son Boden in January of 2021.
