ABOUT CALVIN FAUCHER

Professional pitcher that was first drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the 10th round of the 2017 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Tampa Bay Rays via trade in July 2021. Prior to playing professionally, he played college baseball at the University of California, Irvine .

He initially began his professional career playing for the Elizabethton Twins. He was later sent to the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Los Angeles Angels on May 9, 2022, as a member of the Rays. His team lost the game 11-3.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Chula Vista, California area. He is one of two siblings.

He was once packaged in a trade that involved Nelson Cruz .
