ABOUT CALVIN ROBERTS

Offensive and defensive tackle who played college football at Gustavus Adolphus College and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003.

He served four years in the Marines prior to attending Gustavus.

He was drafted by the New York Giants in 1953 but never played for the team due to illness.

He grew up with his family in Hector, Minnesota.

He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003, the same year as standout NFL running back Barry Sanders .
