ABOUT CAMERON DANTZLER SR.

NFL defensive back that was initially taken by the Minnesota Vikings as a third round pick in the 2020 Draft. Following that year, he was named to the 2020 PFWA All-Rookie Team. He was later acquired by the Washington Commanders in March 2023.

He previously played college football at Mississippi State University . As a sophomore in 2018, he was named to the second team All-SEC.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Green Bay Packers during week one of the 2020 regular season. He recorded four tackles in a 43-34 Vikings loss.

He was born and raised living with his family in the Hammond, Louisiana area. His son, Cameron Jr., was born in May 2019.

He played alongside Patrick Peterson as a member of the Vikings during the 2022 NFL season.
