ABOUT CAMERON MICHAEL SMITH
American spoken word artist best known as the mastermind behind the musical project Hotel Books, in which he recites poetry over rock instrumentation. He is the author of the poetry and short story collections Found Footage and Most Nights, I Wish It Was You.
He formed Hotel Books while living in Porterville, California.
In 2015 he began writing a monthly column for HM Magazine called "Almost There."
He has an older sister and a younger sister.
He has cited Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse as one of his favorite lyricists.
