He was named after the bakery that is featured on Cake Boss, Carlo's Bakery.

His father launched an event planning and catering company in 2014 called Buddy V's Events.

His mother's name is Lisa and his siblings are Sofia , Buddy III , and Marco .

His aunt Grace Faugno has also appeared on Cake Boss.
