ABOUT CARLOS AUGUSTO

Professional soccer player who plays as a left-back for Serie A club Monza. He made his Serie A debut for the team in August of 2022. He finished the 2022-23 season with six goals and five assists. He was loaned to Inter Milan in 2023.

At the age of 12, he started his career with Corinthians. He was part of the winning squad at the 2017 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, a cup competition played by Brazilian under-20 association soccer teams.

In December of 2018, he was included in the Brazil U20 squad for the 2019 South American U-20 Championship. In the 2018-19 season, he made six overall appearances for the team.

He was born in Brazil. However, he also holds an Italian passport through his great-grandparents.

He and fellow soccer player Guilherme Biro have both played for Corinthians' youth team and Brazil's U20 squad.
