2-time MLB All-Star left fielder whose career spanned from 1968 to 1981.
He made his MLB debut on September 6, 1968 for the Chicago White Sox.
He was a good hitter despite the lack of a full right thumb. It was blown off in a mortar accident while he was in the Marines.
He and his brother Lee Many became the first brother duo to play in the same All-Star game.
He lost the AL Rookie of the Year honors to Lou Pinella in 1969.
