ABOUT CARLOS SILVA

Simply known as Gil, he is a centre back who began playing for the Chinese club Shandong Luneng in 2016 after appearing in 104 matches with Corinthians.

He was brought up through the youth system of Americano between 2001 and 2003.

He made his Brazil national team debut against Colombia in 2014.

He was born Carlos Gilberto Nascimento Silva in Campos dos Goytacazes,  Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil.

He and Graziano Pelle both joined Shandong Luneng in 2016.
