ABOUT CARNEY CHUKWUEMEKA

Teenage center midfielder that originally signed his first professional contract with the English Premier League club Aston Villa in the year 2021. He later signed a multi-year deal with Chelsea FC in August of 2022.

He initially began playing soccer as a kid on the Northampton Town FC youth squad. Eventually, he joined Aston Villa's youth ranks in the year 2016.

He made his official club team debut with Aston Villa while playing against Tottenham Hotspur on May 19, 2021. He and his team won the match with a score of 2-1.

Although he was born in Eisenstadt, Austria, he grew up living with his family in England. He is of Nigerian descent.

He played alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic as a member of Chelsea during the 2022 English Premier League season.
