Latin rapper and singer who also goes by the nickname "Medicine Girl" in reference to some of her drug-related lyrics. Active since 2007, she's released ten albums.

She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in accounting before beginning to pursue her career in music.

Her version of the reggae classic "Night Nurse" was used in the 2012 feature film Filly Brown starring Gina Rodriguez .

Her father was a professor at the college she wound up attending.

She's collaborated with wide variety of artists including rapper Baby Bash .
