She obtained a BS in petroleum engineering with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin before going on to get an MBA from UT Austin in 2009.
She was awarded Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate by the UT Cockrell School of Engineering.
She's originally from the Texas Panhandle, but has lived in Houston, Texas most of her life.
