ABOUT CASEY JANICE HOBBS
Widely known by her stage name Casey J, she earned the #1 spot on the US Billboard Gospel charts in 2015 with her single "Fill Me Up." In April of that same year, she released her debut studio album The Truth, which peaked at #131 on the Billboard Top 200.
She joined her first choir at age 12. She subsequently earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
On May 13, 2016, she released two enhanced digital versions of her debut album The Truth. She released a deluxe audio and visual edition.
She cites her father, a carpenter who passed when she was 5 years old, for inspiring her creatively.
She has been a signee to Tyscot Records alongside fellow Gospel Singer Deitrick Haddon .
