ABOUT CECIL AFRIKA

He joined South Africa's sevens national team in 2009, where he led them to a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

He played for South Africa's U-20 team in 2008.

In 2011 he was the IRB International Sevens Player of the Year.

He was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

He is one of the noteworthy players to have won the IRB award, along with players such as DJ Forbes .
