His biking career started at the age of six when he entered the BMX scene. He became a pro mountain biker in 2001 at the age of 23.

He rides for Santa Cruz bikes. He is also popular on Twitter and Instagram with more than 20,000 followers on the former platform and over 120,000 followers on the latter.

He is married and resides in France.
