ABOUT CELIK ERISCI
Turkish singer and composer, also known simply as Çelik, who first found success as a member of the İzel-Çelik-Ercan trio. He went on to have a prominent solo career thanks to hits such as "Hercai," "Dilberim" and "Nazina ölüyorum."
He graduated from the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music Conservatory in 1990.
The video for his 2017 single "Yerlerdeyim" topped 2 million YouTube views in 2 years.
His father was a tailor. He was married to Buket Saygı from 2002-05. His son's name is Atilla.
Sila Gencoglu and Koray AVCI are other highly respected singers from Turkey.
