He started out at Cervia before joining Cesena. In 2018 he moved to Inter Milan, where he soon established himself in the youth ranks, rising to the under-19 level at the age of 16.

He was included in The Guardian's yearly "Next Generation" list after a good start to the 2021-22 season.

He was born in Ravenna. His brother Ettore also plays soccer professionally, for ASD Savignanese.
