Australian country singer who toured with the Slim Dusty Show and the All-Star Western Show. He is best known for his silly stage persona and his prominent teeth. In 2021, he released his final studio album, Quarantined.

He was discovered on Australia's Amateur Hour radio show and began recording when he was nineteen.

He was awarded the Order of Australia in 2004. His song "The Shotgun Wedding" has garnered over 800,000 streams on Spotify.

He married Joan Morgan in September 1985.

He recorded a duet with John Williamson entitled "A Country Balladeer."
