ABOUT CHARIZ SOLOMON

After earning an Empress Golden Screen Television Award nomination for her role as Yasmin Villafuerte in the GMA Network comedy series JejeMom, Solomon became one of the hosts of the Philippine science program IBilib.

She began her entertainment career as a contestant on StarStruck: The Next Level.

She was nominated for both a Golden Screen Award and a PMPC Star Award for her role in the 2008 film My Best Friend's Girlfriend.

She and her brothers Bobby and Robert (twins) grew up in Manila in a family of Filipino and German heritage. In 2013, she and her husband Nestor Ng welcomed their first child, Apollo Ng.

She and Heart Evangelista both hosted the GMA Network program Startalk: The Only Showbiz Authority.
