Award-winning playwright who wrote Clouds Hill and Wilderness of Mirrors. His work was profiled in the New York Times, BBC World and on NPR.

He studied with director George Roy Hill at Yale University.

He directed the play A Thousand Cuts, which was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2013.

He married Wendy A. Rolfe in 1998.

He wrote the screenplay for Running Funny featuring Paul Giamatti .
