ABOUT CHARLES FULLER

Playwright who won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1982 for A Soldier's Play, which explores the complex feelings of African Americans towards one another.

He studied at Villanova University.

He received grants from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

He married Claire Prieto in 2008.

Like author Toni Morrison , he also won the esteemed Pulitzer Prize.
