American sculptor known for his monuments and architectural sculpture. He made the statue of James B. Duke at Duke University.

He studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League of New York.

He also attended the American Academy in Rome.

His parents raised him in New York City.

He created a statue of Andrew Jackson .
