Pioneering engineer who co-founded the Rolls-Royce automobile company.

He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, with a degree in mechanical and applied sciences.

He was the first Briton to be killed in an aviation accident.

He was the third son of 1st Baron Llangattock and Lady Llangattock.

He also experimented with Orville and Wilbur Wright 's flying machines.
