ABOUT CHENJERAI HOVE
A Zimbabwean poet, novelist and essayist, he is known for works such as Red Hills of Home, Ancestors, and Blind Moon. For his 1988 novel Bones, he received the Zimbabwe Literary Award.
He earned degrees from the University of South Africa and the University of Zimbabwe.
He was a founding member of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Association.
He was the son of a local chief in Mazvihwa, Zimbabwe.
He criticized the government of Robert Mugabe .
