Chester Gregory

ABOUT CHESTER GREGORY

Award-winning Broadway performer, entertainer, performer, and artist who is also known as C.H.E.S.S. He has done many Broadway productions including Motown: The Musical, Sister Act, and Hairspray. He has also done TV work, and has appeared in TV series like American Dreams and The Daily Show .

He obtained his bachelor of fine arts degree in musical theatre from Columbia College in Chicago. After graduating, he taught acting and dance at East Chicago Central High School.

He has won numerous awards including the NAACP Theater Award and the Joseph Jefferson Award. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Columbia College in Chicago.

He has a son called Chester Gregory III.

In June of 2003, he was able to sing for Michael Jackson in Gary, Indiana.
