ABOUT CHRIS COWDREY
Former all-rounder for England and Kent from 1976 to 1991 who wrote the famous autobiography Good Enough in 1986.
He forgot to take off his shin pads while bowling during his his first Test in Bombay.
He and his father Colin became the first father and son to have both captained England.
His son Fabian signed a contract with the Kent cricket team in 2011.
He bowled against India's Kapil Dev during England's 1984-85 tour of India.
