American screenwriter and producer who co-created such popular 1960s television shows as The Munsters and My Mother the Car. He won a 1968 Emmy Award for his comedy writing.
Early in his career, he wrote for an animated series called Crusader Rabbit.
He wrote for the popular Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.
He was married twice -- to Geraldine Kulcher and Linda Simmons -- and had three children.
He co-created The Munsters, a television series that starred Butch Patric .
