ABOUT CHRIS ROYCROFT

Right-handed relief pitcher that originally began his professional baseball career with the Joliet Slammers of the Frontier League in 2021. Just one year later, he was then signed by the St. Louis Cardinals organization. In 2024, he was named one of the Cardinals Top 100 MLB prospects.

He first began his minor league baseball career with the St. Louis Cardinals rookie affiliate team. He was later sent to the Peoria Chiefs.

He was two-sport athlete while at Aurora University. At the time, he played baseball and basketball.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the state of Illinois. He is one of four siblings.

He played alongside Miles Mikolas as a member of the Cardinals during the 2025 MLB season.
