ABOUT CHRIS SLATER

Defender who made his professional debut in 2005 with Chasetown; played for Port Vale in 2008 then re-joined Chasetown later in the year.

He was part of the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth system from 2002 to 2005.

After a brief stint on Port Vale, he returned to Chasetown in 2008.

He grew up in Staffordshire, England.

He became teammates with defender Lee Collins on Port Vale in 2008.
