ABOUT CHRIS WU

Actor who is widely known for his work throughout the Taiwanese TV and film industries. He is particularly known for his role as Zhang Tingxu in the 2012 TV series Emerging Light. He was nominated for the Asian TV Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work on the show.

He graduated from Kaohsiung Municipal Chung-Cheng Industrial High School. He worked odd jobs following his time there. He was discovered while working as a bartender by the director Li Qiyuan.

In 2015, he was nominated for the Golden Bell Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Mini-Series and Best Leading Actor for a Series. He won the former for his work on the series Wake Up.

In 2020, he began dating Ivy Shao , with whom he co-starred in The Perfect Match.

He made an early appearance in the music video for Rainie Yang 's song "Breathless."
