ABOUT CHRISTIAN COLON
Baseball shortstop known for driving in the go-ahead run in Game 5 of the 2015 World Series, ending the Kansas City Royals' 30-year title drought. He was the fourth overall pick by the Royals in the 2010 MLB Draft.
He played college baseball at Cal State Fullerton, being named an All-American during his time there.
He was originally a 10th round pick in 2007, but chose to go to college instead. His World Series-winning hit was his only at-bat of the 2015 postseason.
He grew up in Puerto Rico, but bounced around the US in high school, playing at schools in Texas, Utah, and California.
He drove in Jarrod Dyson to help Kansas City win the 2015 World Series.
