ABOUT CHRISTIAN GUARDINO

American singer who was given the coveted golden buzzer by Howie Mandel during his audition for America's Got Talent in 2017.

He was rendered blind due to Leber congenital amaurosis, but regained his sight following an experimental surgery.

He has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York multiple times. On American Idol 's 20th anniversary season, in 2022, he made it to the top 24 contestants, earning praise from the judges for his humility and strong voice.

He grew up in the Patchogue village of Long Island, New York. His mother is a nurse.

His audition received a standing ovation from all four America's Got Talent judges, including Simon Cowell , Mel B and Heidi Klum .
