ABOUT CHRISTIAN KOUAMé

Veteran center forward that has been playing soccer professionally since the year 2015. He eventually signed a multi-year deal with Italian Serie A club ACF Fiorentina in January of 2020. He is also a member of the Ivory Coast men's national team.

Prior to his professional club career, he played within the AC Prato youth ranks. He also played for Inter Milan and US Sassuolo Calcio.

He officially made his professional club debut with AC Prato while playing against Pisa SC on September 6, 2015. He was just 17 years old at the time. Kouamé debuted for the Ivory Coast U23s in a pair of 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualification matches in March 2019.[5][6] He was called-up for the final tournament in November 2019, suffering a knee injury.

As a kid, he grew up living with his family in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. As a teenager, he moved to Italy where he lived with an adopted family.

He has played alongside Serge Aurier as a member of Team Ivory during his professional career.
