Also known as "Big Black," he became creator and co-star of the hit MTV series Rob & Big . He also appeared on Rob Dyrdek 's Fantasy Factory.

He served in the U.S. Navy before beginning his entertainment career.

He was a judge at the Hooters 2012 International Swimsuit Pageant.

He married Shannon Boykin in 2008. His first child, Rea Boykin, was born on February 15, 2008.

He and Rob Dyrdek created Rob & Big in 2006.
