American screenwriter and director who has worked on various films including The Principal in 1987 and Gone Fishin' in 1997.
His first film was Sixth and Main, which he wrote, directed, and produced.
He directed the television movie Wheels of Terror in 1990.
He married Sarah Thomas in 1969 and adopted her two sons. They also had a daughter together.
He is the stepfather of actor Dean Cain .
