ABOUT CHRISTOPHER DURANG

Playwright known for such comedic and absurdist works as Laughing Wild, The Actor's Nightmare, 'Dentity Crisis, and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

After graduating from Harvard University with a degree in English, he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in dramatic writing from the Yale School of Drama.

In 2013, he was honored with a Tony Award for Best Play for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

He was born in New Jersey to Patricia Elizabeth Durang and Francis Ferdinand Durang, Jr.

He appeared with Kiefer Sutherland in the 1994 film The Cowboy Way.
