Klas Ingesson
ABOUT KLAS INGESSON
Late soccer player and manager who won multiple titles with IFK Goteborg from 1986 to 1990. He also represented Sweden at the FIFA World Cup in 1990 and 1994.
He played youth soccer at Odeshogs IK beginning in 1975.
He died as a result of multiple myeloma at age 46, shortly after being hired as the manager at IF Elfsborg.
He was survived by his sons, David and Martin.
He played with Swedish team captain Glenn Hysen at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
